Robin Swoboda became one of Cleveland's most respected and well-loved personalities during her many years anchoring the nightly news for Fox 8.
Since making her home in Cleveland in 1986, Robin remains one of Northeast Ohio most beloved personalities. She also ranks as one of the area’s most recognizable personalities.

The senator hosted a private reception for over 100 friends and former colleagues from his days as mayor of the City of Cleveland 1980 – 1989. Joey and the boys performed at the Saturday evening dance across the hall in Sterle’s main dining room. On a break Joey and Hank brought their button boxes over and entertained the Voinovich party with several Slovenian polkas and waltzes. That wasn’t the first time the band played for Mr. & Mrs. Voinovich. In 1991 the Joey Tomsick Orchestra brought polka music to Columbus, Ohio for the then newly elected Ohio Governor Voinovich’s Inauguration Party. |
